Loftia Multiplayer, Solo Play and Online Requirements

Solo does not mean offline

According to the official FAQ, choosing to play by yourself will not block progress and lets you experience almost all the same content. You remain connected to Loftia’s online world. If your main requirement is an offline life sim, the current announcement does not meet that requirement.

Playing with friends and choosing servers

The FAQ says players must be on the same server to play together and are not locked to a single server. This supports planning to meet friends, but does not establish an exact launch-day invitation flow, private-server feature or tested party-size limit. A step-by-step joining guide will need verification in the released game.

Cross-platform support is still being evaluated

The team describes cross-platform play as a goal under research and testing, with no guarantee yet. The FAQ also says playing on multiple platforms requires purchasing on each. Do not infer cross-save, shared entitlements or confirmed cross-play from the fact that PC and Mac are both listed.

What can players do together?

The official overview describes connected neighborhoods, shared farming and crafting, group exploration and community projects. Steam’s Early Access description also names a community farm minigame and adventure islands. These provide useful ways to choose an interest without inventing group rewards or matchmaking rules.
