Living in a Loftia Neighborhood

The developers describe neighborhoods formed by linking personal floating islands. Shared spaces support decorating, farming, crafting and spending time together.

Link personal islands into a neighborhood

The developers describe connecting your floating island to other players’ islands. Your personal home and island become part of a shared neighborhood, with room for activities together.

What neighbors can do together

The official neighborhood description names decorating, farming, crafting and spending time together. Pick the shared activity you are interested in, then use its dedicated guide.

Neighborhood life and wider world progress

A neighborhood is a place for shared life. Community projects are described through their wider outcomes: new resources, hidden stories and new islands. That world-building description does not establish neighborhood membership as a requirement.

Before your group commits to a shared layout

Use the multiplayer guide to plan meeting friends on the same server. Before committing a layout or materials, confirm the following in the current game or a specific official guide.

  • How are islands connected, and how many residents can join?
  • Who may move or remove decorations and crafting objects?
  • Which supplies or storage can residents share?
  • What changes when someone leaves the neighborhood?
