What the game purchase covers

The FAQ says a one-time purchase gives access to gameplay without a recurring game subscription. Optional purchases and season passes are described as cosmetic. The announcement does not provide a complete shop catalogue or establish how every future cosmetic will be obtained.

Updates, expansions and future pricing

The developers currently say there are no plans for paid DLC or expansions, and describe continued content updates for owners. Steam also says the game may increase in price before or at the full 1.0 release as content grows. Keep those current intentions separate from a guarantee that pricing will never change; see the roadmap.
